Our school social worker Ms. Damer introduces herself.
My name is Katharina Damer, I am a social worker and I work part-time as a school social worker at the Erich Kästner School.
School social work is an additional, open offer at school which students, parents, legal guardians and teachers can take advantage of voluntarily. She helps with difficulties and problems that you cannot overcome alone and wants to support children and young people on the path to personal development.
I would like to help your children arrive well at this school and see themselves as part of the community.
I advise and support you on parenting issues, conflict situations and personal issues and work with you to find solutions. All offers are confidential and voluntary.
My tasks are:
- Support/promotion of individual children
- Method and social training
- Parental advice (also support with applications)
- Small group work and class projects
- Cooperation and networking work
- Child protection
Working time:
Monday 8.00 Uhr - 13.00 Uhr
Tuesday 8.30 Uhr - 12.30 Uhr
Thursday 10.00 Uhr -15.30 Uhr
Wednesday 9.00 Uhr – 12.30 Uhr
